This trip is a relaxing and unforgettable experience that takes you from the pier in Bergen, or Flesland to Bekkjarvik – and back.
At Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri, good food based on good local ingredients has been served since the 17th century. The sea is just as generous, and nature right outside the living room door still willingly shares its benefits. The ingredients are still the same, but the menu is constantly evolving.
The award-winning twin brothers Ørjan and Arnt manage the kitchen and put together a four-course tasting menu based on the best ingredients of the day.

We meet at Zachariasbryggen by Fisketorget in Bergen. When you come on board, you will be served a welcome drink that leads you into the good conversation in the lounge or allows you to follow the greatness of nature from the top deck. The trip from Bergen to Bekkjarvik creates the perfect atmosphere for the evening.
At low speed, we drive out the historic Vågen. We take you through fantastic coastal and fjord scenery from the center of Bergen to Bekkjarvik with the modern catamaran MS RYGERTROLL.
When we arrive Gjestgiveriet, a tasty aperitif is served as a foretaste of what’s to come and you get an overview of the day’s menu. Then you will hear about the ingredients, how the food is prepared and the idea behind the menu.
Evening cruise
After a successful evening, it is time to head back to Bergen. We will arrival in Bergen about 11.30 PM.
After a successful evening, Bergen lights up towards you as we pull into the harbour. The wooden buildings on the mountain side, Bergenhus Fortress, Verdensarvstedet Bryggen and the 7 mountains that surround the city welcome you. Nothing beats the view of Bergen from the sea side!
