Our hotel and restaurant is situated by a small harbor in the idyllic village of Bekkjarvik, just a short distance by boat from downtown Bergen. The hotel has been the heart of this fishing village ever since its establishment in the 1600s.
Today Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri continues to provide a calm harbor for guests from Norway and abroad. Most people visit us to enjoy delicious food and drink, surrounded by the scenic beauty of Norway’s western coast.

Ørjan Johannessen won the gold medal in Bocuse d`Or 2015, and in 2014, his twin brother Arnt received the award for “Kitchen Manager of the Year”, here in Norway.
